JRHE operates a continuous publication (online-first) model: accepted articles are published as soon as they are ready, assigned a DOI, and placed in the current annual volume. For indexing and citation purposes, content is compiled into three issues per year — January, May, and September. The journal may publish Special Issues and Supplements when appropriate; all submissions follow the same double-anonymized peer-review and ethical standards. JRHE is an e-only journal; no print edition is produced.
