Publication Ethics
JRHE adheres to COPE best practices. Authors must ensure originality, data transparency, and ethical compliance (human/animal research, consent, confidentiality). Generative AI tools cannot be credited as authors; any AI use must be disclosed and must not generate or alter data, images, or citations. Editors maintain confidentiality, remain free from conflicts of interest, and handle alleged misconduct in accordance with COPE procedures; corrections or retractions are issued when warranted. Reviewers preserve confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and must not upload manuscripts to public AI systems. All submissions undergo similarity screening for plagiarism; violations may result in rejection, retraction, and sanctions. JRHE permits preprint posting (with disclosure) and encourages open science. All articles are published Open Access (CC BY 4.0) and are evaluated through double-anonymized peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
